Tillamook Country Smoker is hiring a **Maintenance Technician** to help keep our production equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting equipment, and take pride in solving problems, we'd love to meet you.

**What You'll Do**

• Perform preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Repair and maintain facility equipment and support improvement projects
• Work with production teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Follow all food safety and workplace safety guidelines
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as assigned
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food production requirements

**What We're Looking For**

• Must be 18 or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment preferred
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Familiarity with motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and PLCs preferred
• Manufacturing experience is a plus, and food manufacturing experience is highly preferred
• Must have your own tools
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

**What to Expect**

This is an active, hands-on role in a food production environment where you'll work around raw meat products and production equipment. You are expected to be able to:

• Stand and walk throughout most of the shift
• Frequently use hands and arms to operate equipment, tools, and machinery
• Regularly communicate with team members and respond to equipment alarms
• Occasionally climb, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and perform other physical tasks as needed
• Frequently lift and move materials up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Work in hot, cold, wet, dry, or slippery conditions
• Handle raw meat products and work around typical food processing sights, smells, and equipment
• Work safely around production machinery with moving mechanical parts
• Follow safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards at all times
