1st shift Maintenance Mechanic - Manufacturing

**Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic **1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic** to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, safely, and reliably. **Responsibilities**

• Demag and various other crane repair knowledge.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
• Repairs electrical equipment.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

**Qualifications:**

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial maintenance environment with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Strong background in CNC machine repairs.
• Proficiency and use of Software, equipment, machines, tools, electronic device necessary for job. (Lathe, drill press, grinder, pneumatic tools, productions machines and electronic equipment).

**Requirements:**

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. over the shoulder height frequently.
• Must have vision correctable to at least 20/50 in one eye.
• Must be able to read numbers, letters, and a dial face clock. Must be able to speak and understand enough English to follow simple instructions.

Pay: $22.50 - $30.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
