**REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN**

**Responsibilities**

With moderate supervision provide maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate & monitor Engine Room. (NH3 compressors)
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning Plant Heating & Refrigeration equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on Refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain plant Ammonia system, Heating & cooling Units.
• Keeping your work area clean & perform other related duties as assigned.
• Performs preventative & corrective maintenance as indicated by maintenance supervisor using CMMS software Mpulse.
• Monitoring steam Boilers, Fire system, wastewater, air compressors & hot water system.
• Trouble shooting mechanical and electrical failures in order resolve issues with various facility equipment.
• Must have the ability to plan necessary repairs by ordering parts with the use of a parts manual.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
• Work with outside contractors performing repairs or PM.
