The Role

Overview

Keep production moving as an Industrial Mechanic. You’ll maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, working across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. Your impact: By restoring equipment safely and efficiently, you help production teams maintain reliable operations.

Duties

  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs; document work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Diagnose equipment issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and meters such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and HVAC equipment; support low- and high-voltage electrical maintenance.
  • Weld, including stick welding, and use scissor lifts when needed, following applicable safety procedures.
  • Communicate findings clearly and provide responsive customer service to facility teams; support field service or technical sales activities when assigned.

Requirements

  • Industrial mechanic experience and mechanical knowledge, ideally in a manufacturing facility; industrial maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, repair, and analysis skills are essential.
  • Practical ability in electrical diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electrical blueprint reading, and engineering troubleshooting; electrical experience is important.
  • Familiarity with welding, HVAC, HVAC/R, hydraulics, PLCs, schematics, and precision measuring instruments is valued.
  • English communication skills are required. Field service, technical sales, customer service, industrial electrician experience, or military experience are helpful, but not required.
