We are hiring an Industrial Refrigeration & HVAC-R Technician for 3rd shift. Bring your experience or grow your skills through hands-on training, classroom support, and company-provided certification assistance. Pay, Schedule & Perks Starting pay: $35.64 per hour, based on knowledge and demonstrated skill $3,000 retention bonus: $1,500 after 4 months of employment and $1,500 after 8 months of employment Shift premium: An additional $1.50 per hour for 3rd shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation Quarterly bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits after 30 days of employment On-site company store with Nestlé products What You’ll Do Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and plant utility systems. You will also support Process Safety Management and serve on the factory Emergency Response and HAZWOPER teams. Key responsibilities: Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial HVAC-R and utility equipment Support ammonia refrigeration, drive-in coolers and freezers, glycol chillers, boilers, water treatment, compressed air, hydraulic, make-up air, and heat-exchange systems Monitor steam boiler and water chemistry controls Maintain reverse osmosis systems, softeners, and filters Complete equipment logs and reports in the computerized maintenance system What You Bring High school diploma or GED preferred Ammonia refrigeration experience At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred At least one year of HVAC-R experience or related education preferred RETA CARO certification preferred; if not certified, you must earn it within your first year, with company-provided course support Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records Clear communication, teamwork, and time-management skills Ability to work in hot and cold environments, at heights, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds Skills That Help You Succeed Read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance guidance, and procedure manuals Write routine reports and correspondence Communicate effectively with employees and groups Follow plant safety, GMP, housekeeping, and operating requirements Contribute in a team-based environment and assist with other assigned duties Benefits Choose from a broad package of health, financial, family, education, wellness, and employee discount programs, including: Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage 401(k) plan Educational assistance and dependent scholarships Employee Assistance Program, wellness coaching, health rewards, and tobacco cessation resources Adoption, maternity, and parental support Pet insurance and legal services group plans Discounts on Nestlé products, Nespresso, cell phone service, gyms, vehicles, home and auto insurance, and additional employee programs Real Recognition points Pay: $35.64 per hour Bonus Eligibility: Yes The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
