If you’re energized by continuous improvement, the ability to make a difference, being part of a dynamic team of leaders, and working for an employer of choice - then this with role is for you ! *Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of skilled, journey-level duties involved in the inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and servicing of field and shop equipment, components, facilities and machinery associated with production such as pipes, tubes, rods, seals, shafts, stuffing boxes, gears, motors, bearings, couplings, chemical storage and feed systems, flow stations, pumping stations, sewage lift stations, valves, gear boxesRepair and maintain settling basin machinery, cross-connections, mixers and hydraulic gatesMaintain and service air compressors; maintain, installs, pulls, services, and aligns all electric motorsEnsure the timely and accurate completion of preventive maintenance activities, utilizing computerized maintenance management systemsMaintain detailed record keeping in support of computerized maintenance management systemRequest necessary tools, equipment and suppliesResearch new operational methods, techniques and equipment and recommends their applicationPlan and lay out jobs from blueprints, drawings, sketches or verbal instructionsMaintain records in the form of blueprints, plans and specifications for industrial and waterworks equipment and machineryMake suggestions for system design and operational improvementsDesign and fabricate a variety of brackets, supports and other metal structures, using torches, welding equipment and other fabricating equipmentAssist in training or instructing others in the departmentActively participates in all company trainingsWork safely and adhere to established safety principles and practices, including but not limited to PPEMaintain OSHA/corporate set guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for coworkersMaintain equipment ensuring high quality production efficiencyPerform lockout/tagout proceduresPerform machinery repairs in a safe, efficient mannerAdditional tasks as required, within job scope and abilities*Requirements/Education/Experience/Skills)High school diploma or equivalent GED; technical school a plus3 – 5 years of related field experience and complete knowledge of all duties listed aboveMechanical mindset with ability to think outside the boxStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to diagnose problems and find solutionsAbility to work in a fast paced, cold temperature environmentExperience working on processing machinery in the foodservice industry a plusAbility to read wiring diagrams and parts breakdowns a plusUnderstand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and
