[Source: Dot Foods Careers] As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the ammonia refrigeration system and/or Industrial freon, ammonia, or freon safety systems and work with the Process Safety Coordinator to develop and maintain Process Safety Management Program and Risk Management Program. WHAT YOU’LL DO Monitors and maintains all ammonia/industrial freon refrigeration equipmentMonitors and maintains all glycol and electric underfloor heating systemsImplements the Process Safety Management for the facilityPerforms the required inspections and maintenance per manufacture and codeDevelops and maintains Standard Operation Procedures and Maintenance Operation ProceduresOccasionally support Building Maintenance on a variety of projectsApplies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position YOU MUST HAVE High school diploma or GEDExperience in environments that promote safetyStrong working knowledge of 120V-480V, 3-PhaseExperience in ammonia refrigeration or extensive freon refrigeration experienceA dedication to eliminating waste in all areas of the position YOU MAY ALSO HAVE Computer skillsWork experience in situations where human error could result in financial loss or personal injuryExperience in Hot Work, Line Break and Fall Prevention ROLE SPECIFICS Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with on-call dutiesRequires working at high heightsExposure to chemicals and noise Emergency Response team memberAbility to work in indoor and outdoor temperatures ranging from below zero to above 100 degrees with high humidity WHO WE ARE Dot Foods makes products more accessible and affordable to the food industry.
