As a Mechanic I, you'll help maintain and repair essential components throughout the plant, addressing everyday maintenance needs and supporting a safe, functional work environment. Your work will contribute to: Keeping facility equipment and components in working condition. Addressing repair needs that affect daily operations. Supporting safe, dependable plant operations. Helping the maintenance team respond to changing priorities. Maintaining a facility where employees can do their jobs effectively. You'll see the direct results of your work through the problems you solve and the repairs you complete. What You'll Do This is a hands-on position with a variety of maintenance responsibilities. Your work may include: Performing general facility maintenance and repairs. Repairing doors, knobs, and related components. Assisting with electrical and mechanical garage-door repairs within your training and authorization. Supporting concrete and epoxy flooring repairs. Performing mechanical driveway repairs. Repairing or maintaining drive chains and belts. Addressing drip pans and drainage-related maintenance. Using hand tools and battery-powered tools safely. Following maintenance instructions and established safety procedures. Working with teammates to complete assigned tasks. No two maintenance assignments are necessarily the same, so adaptability and practical thinking are important. What Makes This Role Exciting? Essential Qualifications Basic familiarity with hand tools and battery-powered tools. Ability to read and use a tape measure. Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks. Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work both independently and with others. Willingness to learn new repair and maintenance tasks. Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM–11:00 PM. Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the role, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
