About the position Refrigeration Systems Construction & Service (RSCS) and Mechanic Refrigeration Company (MRC) are a commercial and industrial refrigeration construction and service team with 25+ years in business and operations across 10 states. We’re hiring Low-Temperature Refrigeration Service Technicians who enjoy solving problems, working on a variety of low-temp refrigeration and HVAC-R systems, and collaborating within a strong team environment. Responsibilities Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and commercial freon systems in customer facilitiesReplace mechanical seals on pumps and compressorsPerform motor alignmentsDiagnose and work with electrical systems and controlsTroubleshoot and service multiple brands of equipment and control systemsPerform start-ups for ammonia refrigeration systemsWork independently on-site and resolve issues when operators are unable toRequirements 5+ years of experience as a Low Temp Refrigeration Service TechnicianStrong working knowledge of industrial-level ammonia refrigeration systems and commercial-level freon/rack systems.Self-motivated, hands-on, and organized with strong attention to detailComfortable with travel and participating in an on-call rotationClean driving recordBenefits Competitive compensation packagesCompany truck and fuelHealth insuranceDental, vision, and prescription options available401(k) (Matching after 1 year of employment)Paid holidays and paid time offPer diem when travelingCareer growth, training, and development opportunities
