Responsibilities Utilize CMMS to support the maintenance function including review, execution, and documentation of scheduled/unscheduled work daily Adhere to all safety policies and procedure s , incor porat e safety and health in all jobs/tasks by taking personal responsibility to ensure a safe and health workplace Respond in an efficient and eff ective manner to urgent production needs related to equipment Adhere to Quality work practices, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained . Ensure that all policies, procedures, and activities related to Food Safety and Quality are followed and complied with , in effort to reduce process variability. Effectively r ead and understand diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications in order to disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment. Perform other maintenance related tasks as needed to support the continuous operation of the plant as a whole . Qualifications Education Level: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent Excellent ver bal and written communication skills and ability to do basic math Experience: 2+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance, utilities and/or related field Prior training and education in the following: OSHA 10 Hour HAZMAT ArcFlash LOTO – Lock Out Tag Out Skills: 2+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance, utilities and/or related field Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external. Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction . Must be a self-motivated self-starter. Basic Knowledge and understanding of fast eners and thread types, belts, sheaves, chains, sprockets, bearings, lubrication standards and applications. Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems including cylinders, valves, manifolds, vacuum systems, air filtration and lubrication devices. Basic knowledge of pipe fitting, insulation, rigging applications, use of mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools.
