Top 5 Must‑Haves

• EPA 608 Universal; strong safety habits with LOTO and permits.

• 3+ years industrial HVAC/R experience with PMs and troubleshooting.

• Work live at 480V 3‑phase; read schematics and P&IDs confidently.

• Use CMMS for work orders, parts, and PM compliance.

• OSHA‑10 or higher; able to work in cold/hot mechanical spaces.

What You’ll Do

• Perform PMs/rounds on RTUs, AHUs, split systems, chillers, and process coolers.

• Diagnose controls, sensors, and safeties; verify superheat/subcooling and setpoints.

• Maintain freezers/coolers: defrosts, door heat, air curtains, and gasketing.

• Repair/replace motors, VFDs, contactors, belts, bearings, and fan assemblies.

• Calibrate temp/pressure transmitters; replace faulty photoeyes and actuators.

• Track work in CMMS; close work orders with notes, parts, and follow‑ups.

• Support ammonia/CO₂ contractors as needed; assist with PSM documentation.

• Respond to critical alarms on a light rotating basis; keep uptime on target.

Skills & Experience

• Strong brazing/soldering; copper/steel piping and leak detection methods.

• Proficient recovery, evacuation, dehydration, and charging procedures.

• Commission and tune VFDs; basic PLC I/O and HMI alarm acknowledgement.

• Read psychrometric charts; manage humidity and airflow in process areas.

• Basic pneumatics: valves, dampers, cylinders, and regulators.

• Use meters, data loggers, micron gauges, and vac pumps correctly.

• Clear communicator; solid shift logs and professional customer service.
